Details

A first little band in one box. Our pastel wooden instrument set gives young musicians lots of ways to make sound: tap, shake, strike, scrape and blow. Soft colours, smooth wood and simple shapes invite children to explore rhythm and melody at their own pace, on their own or together with you.

  • Nine instruments: xylophone, tambourine, rain stick, maraca, castanet, triangle, guiro, rhythm sticks and a little wooden horn
  • Early listening skills: loud and soft, fast and slow, high and low
  • Made for playing together: enough instruments for the whole family to join in
  • Ready to give: arrives in a printed box

Size and what's in the box

9 instruments: 1 xylophone with 2 mallets, 1 tambourine, 1 rain stick, 1 maraca, 1 castanet, 1 triangle with beater, 1 guiro with scraper stick, 1 pair of rhythm sticks and 1 little wooden horn.

Box size: approx. 33.8 × 26 × 6 cm. Weight: approx. 1.1 kg.

Materials: mainly wood, with metal xylophone keys, triangle and tambourine jingles, and a clear plastic tube on the rain stick.

Safety and Care

Wipe the wooden horn's mouthpiece clean before and after use, and before sharing it.

Check the instruments regularly and stop using any that are cracked, loose or splintered.

Nine ways to make music

Tap the xylophone, shake the maraca, tip the rain stick, scrape the guiro or ring the triangle. Each instrument makes its own sound, so little ones discover high and low, loud and soft, fast and slow, simply by playing.

Make music together

Hand out the instruments and start a family band. Copy a rhythm, take turns, play fast then slow, or march around the room to your favourite song. There are enough instruments for everyone to join in, and every little musician gets to lead.
