4. Who we share it with

We only share what each service needs to do its job:

  • Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which hosts our website and processes orders.
  • Payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal and Klarna), to process your payment.
  • Our supplier and fulfilment partner, based in China, which receives your name, delivery address and order details so your toys can be packed and shipped.
  • Delivery companies, which receive your name, address and contact details to deliver your parcel.
  • Our email service, to send our emails if you’ve subscribed.
  • Our reviews service, to collect and display product reviews.
  • Advertising and analytics partners (such as Meta, TikTok and Google), only if you accept marketing or analytics cookies.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, such as our accountant, or tax and legal authorities when the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in Canada, the United States, the European Union and China. Where this happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations, on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or, for delivering your order, on the transfer being necessary to perform our contract with you.

6. How long we keep it

  • Order and invoice records: 10 years, as required by French accounting law.
  • Customer service messages: 3 years after our last contact.
  • Marketing: until you unsubscribe.
  • Cookies: see our cookie banner for each cookie’s duration.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to make our website work, such as remembering your basket. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies, to understand how our site is used, and marketing cookies, to show you relevant adverts. You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies in our cookie banner, and change your choice at any time.

8. Children’s privacy

Our website is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • correct it if it’s wrong;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • receive a copy of it in a portable format;

To use any of these rights, email us at hello@wrenwoodtoys.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). As we’re based in France, you can also contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr). We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before you do.

10. Keeping your information safe

We use trusted providers with strong security measures, and we limit access to your information to what is needed to run our shop.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
