Wrenwood began with a simple idea: choosing toys for a little one shouldn’t be overwhelming. Shelves are full of plastic that flashes, beeps and is forgotten a week later. We wanted the opposite: simple wooden toys that invite small hands to explore, and still feel worth keeping a year later.
What we look for in every toy
- Natural materials. Real wood, sanded smooth for small hands.
- One clear purpose. Each toy invites one skill at a time, so play stays calm and focused.
- Room to grow. The best toys change with your child, from first grasps to stacking, sorting and make-believe.
- Clear guidance. Every toy shows a recommended age and safety advice, so you can choose with confidence.
Inspired by Montessori
Many of our toys are inspired by the Montessori approach: real materials, simple designs and play that your child leads. We’re not a Montessori school and we don’t claim any certification. We simply choose toys that follow the same spirit.
Honest from the start
Our toys ship directly from our partner warehouse in China, which keeps our prices fair. Delivery takes 6–10 working days, with tracking all the way. We’d always rather tell you up front than surprise you later.
Why the wren?
The wren is one of Britain’s smallest and best-loved birds: small, curious and full of character, a lot like the little ones our toys are made for.
